His suggestion is know as "Pascals Wager". Even if the evidence for God's existence is slim, a sensible gambler will choose to believe in him, since to do so is a good bet. Pete's 'NORMAL' New Zealand life. Sunday, December 10, 2006. Today I hiked the Tongariro track. It was a 20km hike over a mountain. We woke up really really early (4.45am). It took me most of the day to wake up. I'm not a morning person and waking up so early usually sets a bad tone for the day. Fortunately, on this occasion it didn't. The hike was a lot of fun however the person I was travelling with was hiking painfully slow. This was frustrating but didn't take away from the hike.

Thursday, August 03, 2006. Last full day in Japan. We woke up early and left the onsen hotel. Yasue gave me a ride to the gym in Yamaguchi city. We parted ways. I was a little emotional. This may be the last time I ever see Yasue - I wasn't too sure. I had a work out and went back to Hagi. Once home I decided to pack. Furusho sensei and me went to a few snack bars, a hostess bar and a final bar for food. I got home at 4am, pissed drunk and needing to get up in 2 hours. Posted by Stubby @ 11:59 PM.
