I think it is great to use technology to give students a hands on experience in the classroom. I remeber always being bored reading out of the book, or listening to my teachers lecturing, and I still am! How much fun and intresting would that be to learn as a true person in a particular field was teaching you first hand. Making Technology Work For You.

They will not only enjoy making art on a paint shop or another problem using the computer but it will help their fine motor skills. They learn how to you the mouse and also begin to type, which helps with learning the alphabet. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). TechTools for Teaching and Learning (EDUC 422).

Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Digital Science Video Library, by Camilla Gagliolo. Personally I don't like to learn science unless I'm hands-on, this is a very close experience to that, and as Gagliolo says, "bringing learning to life". Another interesting fact about this technology is that I found it wasn't too expensive, and definitely well worth it. If a program can enhance the students learning in anyway, I think it's a great investment! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Twitter in the Classroom.
