To add to this, I realized that there were many skills, terms, and vocabulary I didnt' know. I am confident that I can be an effective first year teacher in any school I am placed. Saving the world one child at a time! I believe a successful teacher is primarily a matter of. Teaching encompasses so many things! To be a good teacher you have to be organized, yet still keep the ball rolling when things don’t go your way. Remember to start each day off on a good note and don’t bring the stresses of your home life to work. You have to be extremely patient with not only your students, but also yourself. I think that to be successful teacher we have to be able to juggle a sense of humor, our expectations, consistency, and maintain objectivity.
