I enjoyed every single minute. It's not to say there weren't challenging moments, and quite frankly there was one probably every day. Student of the Horse. July 11, 2015. July 11, 2015. Today was saddle day for Lena! Trying to hang onto my horse-kite while detangling my savvy string from the 22′ line. Our entire session time was 90 minutes. The nice thing about her being a mature horse is that she can mentally and emotionally handle longer sessions, and she really ate up all of the attention, and seemed to really enjoy being able to use her brain and break up the monotony of just standing around being a pasture ornament.
