Music for Instruments - 11/8/2013. This little Christmas piece is what would be called in modern contemporary parlance, a mashup. The work is set in the manner of a Chorale Prelude, the obligato line is an ornamented "Silent Night" and the chorale itself is "Veni Emmanuel". It has been performed on flute and piano in public on several occasions. With myself and Jaclyn playing. And was well received on each by the lay audiences.
