I just returned from my 30 year reunion at VFCC. Valley Forge Christian College). YUP, I am old! Had an awesome time with friends that I haven't seen, well. in thirty years! Some, I had seen 28 years ago at weddings and such and one friend that moved to my home state of Virginia I have seen since, but otherwise, besides keeping in touch via Facebook.

My often erratic, sometimes purposeless and random thoughts about life lessons and "I Love Lucy". Thursday, January 7, 2010. Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good". I love this verse because Paul is not only telling us how to love but also how to discriminate in our love. We need sincerity and goodness and we need to shun the evil. I love studying word etymologies and this is one of those times when we can understand the text much better after we have looked at the words carefully.
