The Not So Big Garden: Dry Creek Bed
http://notsobiggarden.blogspot.com/2012/01/dry-creek-bed.html
The Not So Big Garden. Friday, January 27, 2012. This was last fall. This was last December. I pulled up more grass, and just kept digging, so I have a depression at one end (the visual end of the creek) and the "creek" then going alongside our house. The creek bed's shape is being designed by our kids, as they discover where they like the water to go or not go. It will be a slow process, but I'm liking the joy I find in this slowness. The Not So Big Garden: April 2012
http://notsobiggarden.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
The Not So Big Garden. Sunday, April 29, 2012. A friend gave me some winecups, these are called, at the start of Spring. Each plant bursts out of one point in the ground, and spreads out above in beautiful symmetry, one stalk remaining overhead. Just delightful. It's hard to capture the symmetry in a photo. It's like a little burst of pink fireworks. And of course I have to raise a toast to our annual sunflower visitors. Now at least 7 feet tall. Friday, April 13, 2012. We potted a poinsettia last Christ...

The Not So Big Garden: Springtime in the Fall
http://notsobiggarden.blogspot.com/2012/10/springtime-in-fall.html
The Not So Big Garden. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Springtime in the Fall. An iris thinks it's Easter. And here are some updated pics of the dry creek bed I'm building. It's sort of on hold while we wait for the city's approval to build a little second residence in the back yard. Its plumbing may have to go right through where my creek is. A Turk's Cap, above. These grow like weeds here. Best in part shade. They hold up around a lot of child's play too. April 8, 2013 at 9:55 AM. Welcome to our Xeriscape.

And then there were 4 – part two. And then there were 4 – part three. January 18, 2013. We had to wait for a little while – bummer since we had to check in so early, only to sit around – because our lovelywonderfulamazing doctor had not sent down her orders and was in the OR with another delivery. I asked for my epiduralNOWPLEASE. Our sweet nurse giggled and told me to just wait until the anesthesiologist came in, that he was so cute and handsome. Sidenote: our sweet nurse is. He was really friendly, lik...

JEFFREY PRIMEAUX: June 2013
http://jeffreyprimeaux.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 16, 2013. Studio Visits Magazine, vol. 22. I appear. well, no, a couple of my paintings appear in the current issue of the juried publication, Studio Visits Magazine. No picture of me in the magazine, but here is on that my friend, Stephen, took the other whenever it was now. I think that's one of my trademark, odd, facial expressions - I'll have to check with legal. Cool shot, though. Most recently completed ("recently"):. Commissioned by Stu Baker for the Baker Family.
