On several visits, while traveling the highway through Erickson to Riding Mountain National Park, these granaries caught my eye. Something about this scene spoke to me. The rare geography of the Tablelands is part of Gros Morne National Park in western Newfoundland. Sep 23, 2013. Sumachs are frequently responsible for the most vivid reds during autumn in Ontario. Occasional a maple will steal the show but typically the sumachs are the show-stoppers. This particular photo was made several years ago near the Westminster Ponds in London ON. A very short depth of field has produced amazing detail in the leaves in the foreground juxtaposed with the blurred bokeh of the background. I find the colour and pattern of the sumach leaves very pleasing. 3 Leaving a COMMENT.
