Planning out, packing up and paying off to the big blue. 5 years, 32 countries, 2 oceans, 2 babies en route and 18,000 miles so far. We had a thought while walking along the cliffs of Cornwall in September 2010 that we could buy a boat and sail round the world. Somehow the idea got talked about more and more, slowly becoming an actual plan. At present we are cruising New Zealand and adjusting to life as a family of four. We currently have no plans to return to normal. Adamastor - our boat and our home.

Sunday, August 12, 2012. Life Instyle - Doing it for the kids! I don't have any kidlets of my own but I couldn't help but be distracted by the wonderful array of kids products, when I visited Life Instyle. Trade show in Melbourne last weekend. A little of my fascination was fueled by the kid inside and all the things I know I would have LOVED when I was young. So for those of you who have little cherubs of your own, I thought I would highlight a few great companies that really caught my eye. I met the Sm...

Torsdag 29. november 2012.

It was our last sailing hurrah in New Zealand as from here we'll be heading straight for Vanuatu. By water-log, Aug 24 2016 11:00PM. The rapid noise of an outboard prop...

Planning out, packing up and paying off to the big blue. 5 years, 32 countries, 2 oceans, 2 babies en route and 18,000 miles so far. Welcome aboard the Mothership. The nuts and bolts of what works for us and our little baby girl Rocket, and now the new addition, Indigo. How on earth do you go about raising a baby on board a sailboat? Now that Rocket is on solids we need somewhere to keep her secure while she eats - a hard task when the boat is always moving! Check us out on the Nature Baby journal. I&apo...
