Making things a little bit more fun. Brief : “To create an organic handle for a wooden spoon.”. For my handle I went into forming mine around the characteristics of an ice berg. After understanding what it is about ice bergs i wanted to carry through, i went onto quick form sketches to help me play with shapes visually. From these sketches I created them in clay to try and get the basic forms correct. I got to this form but it didn’t appear elegant so I played with shape and comfort.
