http://theseamrippers.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 23, 2014. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner! Well no, I didn't win a chicken dinner, but my Birds at the Window quilt won Viewer's Choice at Lily Pad Quilting. That was so exciting! I won two jelly rolls from Penny Cottons. And I can't wait to pick them out! Actually. probably.lots of fabric, but maybe not lots and lots. It will be fun to just walk around and pet the lovely stuff, even if we don't buy anything! Links to this post. Labels: Birds at the Window quilt. Monday, August 4, 2014.

The Seam Rippers: September 2014
http://theseamrippers.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 20, 2014. I finished the Christmas quilt top and I'm more than pleased with it. I plan to do a simple straight line quilting either in the ditch or to the side of the seams. And I'm not going to rush myself on it. Now, I can move on to other pressing projects as Christmas quickly approaches. Links to this post. Monday, September 15, 2014. Any David Bowie fans out there? After thinking so very long about getting rid of the dresser in my sewing room. Links to this post. WIP First two ro...

The Seam Rippers: October 2014
http://theseamrippers.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 19, 2014. It's been a month since I posted. Just living life and busy, you know? I have been working diligently on a few things, and I finally finished a few of them. I worked off and on this little Christmas dress for my princess Klaire. It wasn't difficult, just involved. And I kept getting distracted. I do like the way it turned out though. I also finished a quilt for our upcoming little Kyndall. Links to this post. Labels: appliqued baby quilt. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Plaza Towers...

http://theseamrippers.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 28, 2015. I Didn't Sew This One. Nope God did. But I did make the gown. *wink*. Our sweet little Kyndall Hope was born last evening. She's perfect in every way and we are beyond excited to finally meet her. God did an amazing job, didn't He? Big sister Klaire wasn't interested in her much. *grin*. I can't believe Klaire is almost two and Kyndall is finally here. God is good! And just so I don't slight our LMW, here is a pic of him playing in the snow we received this week. I hope I lik...

The Seam Rippers: Weekend Work
http://theseamrippers.blogspot.com/2015/02/weekend-work.html
Monday, February 2, 2015. I finished Princess Klaire's quilt this weekend. I love how it turned out. I also made up some little bags. They can be used to hold cosmetics or cell phone/tablet chargers, just whatever. I'm happy to be getting started on Christmas gifts already. I've never started so early, and I have high hopes of getting many of them done way before December. February 2, 2015 at 5:16 PM. February 2, 2015 at 8:17 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Seam Rippers: March 2014
http://theseamrippers.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 22, 2014. Life is changing around here. And it's all good. We started with these two pieces. We attended a chalk paint demonstration the same day we found these two, and decided to try that type of paint first. It is marvelous to work with and gives everything a very smooth satiny finish. You aren't supposed to have to sand or prime but.we found out the hard way that we may need to do light sanding anyway. This is the table after. That would be ME! I spent this afternoon finishing up the ...

Eagles' Wings Quilts: On my Needles, July 31, 2015
http://eagleswingsquilts.blogspot.com/2015/07/on-my-needles-july-31-2015.html
Friday, 31 July 2015. On my Needles, July 31, 2015. It has been ages since I did a post about knitting. Mostly because it's been ages since I did any knitting. However, while we were on vacation, I decided I needed something different to do, rather than continuing to work on La Passacaglia. While I dithered about whether to make it, or not. I finally purchased that pattern, and also one for a Cowl called That Nice Stitch. 1 August 2015 at 00:40. I went back to see what Judys looked like, and yes, that is...

Tuesday, 25 August 2015. I've started on Susan's quilt. Lovely red and green Ohio Stars. It's a big one, so lots more to do on it. Links to this post. Sunday, 23 August 2015. Sunday Stash and Stitching, week 34. I haven't done a stash report since the beginning of August. I have been doing some sewing since then, and some hand stitching too. However, I've also been doing some shopping. I think I'll focus on the good part, first. the stitching. Here's a close up of it in place. Used this month: 3 yards.

Eagles' Wings Quilts: May 2015
http://eagleswingsquilts.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, 31 May 2015. Scott and I are camping over near Niagara Falls where he was able to meet up with a friend he grew up with out in Alberta. They haven't seen each other in over forty years. Needless to say, there was a lot of talking and catching up happening. We weren't sure just when they'd be able to meet up during the five days his friend was visiting at the falls, so we booked a campsite at Rock Point Provincial Park. Links to this post.
