Thursday, January 15, 2009. When you hear people talking about their GREAT senior years and how that last year was the best, and they went out with a bang. WHAT do you mean? Starting the day off right with chocolate! My mom always gave us kids hearts of chocolates just like this one on Valentine's Day. We've been doing the same thing since Wyatt was about 18 months. We give it to them first thing and they can eat them for breakfast. (The did have yogurt afterward as well, so it wasn't a completely unhealthy breakfast.:). On The Menu: Chicken Farfalle Pesto Pasta. Made this for the family the other day and it was a hit! 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil. 2 large chicken breasts lightly seasoned with salt and pepper. 1 pound mini bowtie pasta (I found mine at Maceys and I love them! 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil. 1 medium onion, finely chopped. 3/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper. 2 cups sliced mushrooms. 2 tablespoons minced garlic. 4 cups broccoli florets. 15 ounce can large butter beans or other white bean.

So happy that the sun was out today! We took advantage of it and rode our bikes to the park. We chose to ride to a park a little farther away than our usual one. We had to cross more busy rodes but Wyatt did awesome. Can't tell they're siblings, right? To get them to pose for the above picture, I told them they could each have a turn taking pictures. I was blog browsing the other day and found instructions here. To make our own crayons. Such a fun project! Step 5: Wait very patiently for them to melt....

I wish I could claim that this recipe is mine, but the credit all goes to my mom. She makes it even better than I do. I don't make it as often as I'd like because when I do make it, that's all that I eat. So good! 1/3 C white sugar. 2 C HOT water. 5 1/2 -6 C. Bread Flour (I prefer Lehi Roller Mills). 2 Tbsp. We started out our day at Sea World with a the rides. I'm sure Eva would have stayed on them all day. I, on the other hand, volunteered to stay off and take pictures. I do not like rides that spin at all. Especially since this is how that ride went:. Our next stop was to feed the Sea Lions. I think this was every one's favorite part. We were the first people of the day to feed them and as soon as we got the glass they started barking and yelling. This picture is kind of dark but this part was awesome....

Monday, November 1, 2010. Wes's brother Jake hooked us up in the costume department since we were slackers and never put anything together ourselves :). He did a sweet make-up job on us and made it look like me and Wes got into a pretty intense fight!
