How to make St. Mary’s County Stuffed Ham. Stuffed Ham starts with a corned ham, usually about 20lbs. When you order the ham, ask to have it boned, skinned, and tied. Rinse the ham in cold water prior to stuffing. Onion, Cabbage, Kale. Basic stuffing consists of kale, cabbage, and onion. 8211; 2 medium heads. Wash, drain, core, and cut into pieces to fit into a food processor. Needs to yield enough to fill a one gallon freezer bag which is about the same as the capacity of a food processor bowl.

How to make St. Mary’s County Stuffed Ham. Combine the kale, cabbage, and onion in a large pot, add hot water to scald the greens and let them soak for a few minutes. Strain the stuffing into a large pan. Add 1TB of black pepper, 2TB or 3TB of red cayenne pepper, and 1tsp of salt to the strained stuffing.
