I remember standing at the starting line with my friend Nancy in downtown Des Moines and being super nervous! In fact, when he brought up the fact that people could be allergic to glass because it is made of sand, my mind wandered and I thought of the movie Raising Arizona. I am glad that my kids question things. It keeps me on my toes.
