http://vomitpontificate.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Where is the Oversight? These days, it's hard to keep up with the scandals of One Party Rule in Washington. DeLay's election scams, Frist's financial dealings, Cheney's lobbying for torture, domestic spying, secret prisons abroad, the Katrina debacle, outing a CIA agent, Rove, Scooter, and the Rubber Stamp Republicans giving the green light all the way. Where is the oversight? Where is the accountability? Make or break elections are just around the corner. Or will you join m...

poem of the week: 10/30/2005 - 11/06/2005

Poem of the week. Wednesday, November 02, 2005. I've only been back from my trip for a week and i'm already slipping. this poem of the week is entitled "silence". it is actually based on a poem i wrote about twelve years ago (over which time has undergone extensive rewriting and restructuring). the most recent variation is a nice short jaunt about the beauty of waking up in the morning. enjoy! Between potential and reality nocturnal. Beasts breathe heavy sighs of lament for dusk. Oklahoma, United States.

Poem of the week. Saturday, October 15, 2005. Grey-grit sand spires tower above the hermits. As they pull themselves past the roaring tide,. Gathering together on the beach and trading shells for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Their lives are no more important than the billow of one wave crashing is to another;. It is continuance, uneventful,. But without which there would be no sea,. So are these creatures magnificent, the absence of which. There would be no reason for shells. All you need is love;.

Poem of the week. Monday, October 17, 2005. Two sunsets pay the fruit fly’s fee for death mid-breath inhaled to cease. dogs bawl for such short release, asking god: why not the fleas? A decade at best the canine scampers, hampered by only time. man with tears welled in his eyes: if only he had nine lives! Posted by axylyn @ 3:25 AM. Oklahoma, United States.
