Remarkably, I received a "comment" to my previous blog from someone who claimed to work for Comcast. While it is nice that this solution may indeed solve my problem, it begs the question why I got the run around from regular customer service? Rep and was again told there was no note of me being sent to collections and my account has never been in the red. I proceeded to explain that someone there MUST have sent my account b/c THEIR collections agency has my account number. In any case, I told them that I needed someone to call the collections agency and tell them that I do not owe any money. Thanks for the help.
