Running, running and other adventures...: July 2015
http://stuartmcbeath.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, 26 July 2015. The middle 2 parkruns of the month were run at Pollok and both were terrible! I was run/walking both of them and they took over 34 minutes each. I just wasn't feeling right. I did do some midweek runs too but they were just as bad. Yesterday I thought, is it going to be 3 bad parkruns in a row - but the answer really was no! It almost felt like a comeback run after so many bad runs and don't get me wrong it was tough. But now I feel I've got something to build on. 5K - 20.43. 12/06/...

Running, running and other adventures...: May
http://stuartmcbeath.blogspot.com/2015/05/may.html
Saturday, 30 May 2015. Well this has been a good month. I made parkrun 5 out of 5 times. The main aim for the month was to get under 30 mins at Pollok. 2nd May - I was at Pollok for my 40th parkrun. It was a pretty solid run coming in at 30.38. Only 4 seconds off my best time at Pollok for the year and 6 seconds off my best time at Pollok since returning to running. Running, running and other adventures...: 14th to 20 June + WHW extended edition
http://stuartmcbeath.blogspot.com/2010/06/14th-to-20-june-whw-extended-edition.html
Sunday, 20 June 2010. 14th to 20 June WHW extended edition. This week was an up and down one. Not surprisingly it took me till Wednesday till I was out running again and the good news is shin splints are completely gone and legs were only a wee bit stiff. So I just did 3 miles and felt good so upped it for the last 2. But due to time restrictions it was just a short one today. Half the West Higland way in a day. Labels: Glasgow Park Run. Running, running and other adventures...: February
http://stuartmcbeath.blogspot.com/2015/02/february.html
Saturday, 28 February 2015. In terms of months I have been running, this has probably been one of my worst. But in terms of months in general this has to be one of my favorites. Out of the 4 parkruns on offer this month I ended up doing none. Not because I didn't want to but because life just got in the way. I did expect this month to be more of a chill month but not quite to the extent it was. But it was all worth it going to India and UAE which I had an absolute blast. Running, running and other adventures...: June 2015
http://stuartmcbeath.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, 27 June 2015. June signifies the end to the first half of the year. Its not been the best 6 months but its not been the worst either. Going by month, my running has kind of followed a pattern with January being a good month, February bad, March good, April bad, May good.June? I knew it was going to be tough the following week but at least I had that in the bank now. In the end there was 4 runners out of 1,300 who dipped under 35 minutes. So all in all a good month :-). Running, running and other adventures...: January 2015
http://stuartmcbeath.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, 31 January 2015. This year certainly started off with a bang. It was double parkrun time! There was various other hills round the course. But the main one you have to go up 3 times. On the last lap I gave in and had to walk. I just had nothing left. I struggled round to the finish in about 30.30 meaning I must have been making the most of the downhills! A great start to the year having finished it but boy did it take a while to recover from! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Glasgow, United Kingdom.
