Bull;February 23, 2011 • Leave a Comment. Here is a piece created by sweeping paint over an image then screen printing the text over and finally applying more paint! This piece was created with two images; one image was screen printed and painted on then the shape of the paint was cut out and collaged over the second image (both identical images! This image below is a very large piece 100 cm x 195 cm! Posted in Art Work. Interview for Illuminate Bath festival. Bull;January 4, 2011 • Leave a Comment.

2010 5 photographs 29.7 x 42 cm. Images are from the film 'Candy' 2000 written and directed by Neil Armfield (based on Luke Davies novel 'Candy: A novel of love and addiction). I watched the film and wrote down everything I could that was said as the film played without pausing. The writing coming through is that of the words I managed to write down. Exhibited at The Green Park Tavern, Bath 4th-10th November, 2010 The handwritten script is about 18 pages long! Underneath is part of that text:.

2010) handwritten text over photograph. 246 x 40.64 cm. Images taken from 'Requiem For A Dream' by Darren Aronofsky and Herbert Selby Jr. The text is taken directly from the script and is all the conversations between Harry and Marion. I wanted the writing to create the effect of the image fading away. Through this process the end result seems as though it is of a television flickering therefore making these pieces work better then I could have hoped for! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Dipping and dripping paint in the studio. Dipping photographs into emulsion paint has developed from simply wiping paint across an image. I wanted to find a different way to use a medium to interfere with an image. The physical act of dipping the photograph into paint is all part of the piece.
