Monday, November 17, 2014. Sculpture Walk; Tuesday 11th November, 2014. We went on a sculpture walk with Nicki (from the Nelson Provincial Museum). We left school at about 11am and we walked along the river and got back to school about 12.45. It was very interesting to see some of the sculptures and hear about them. I like the relay race because I like running. I like the relay because I was running fast and I was winning. At the Athletic Sports I like the high jump. Monday, May 7, 2012. The Big Pumpkin Challenge. St Vincent Room challenged us to a pumpkin bake off. We all made something different and had a shared lunch. Trafalgar Room made pizza and baked potatoes with pumpkin stuffing. There were 3 different types of pumpkin soup. It was a nice day and the children tried out lots of different things. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Visit from the Fire Brigade. An engine from the Nelson Fire Brigade and some fire fighters came to visit the Kindergarten and Trafalgar Room got invited along. This was very interesting and then everyone got the chance to 'squirt' the hose which was quite exciting. We were very lucky to have swimming lessons for 3 weeks earlier this term.
