Year 3/4 Learning Zone. Our Morning with Sheffield Wildlife. On July 1, 2015. Today Yorkshire wildlife work with our class to teach us about different habitats. First we all got into groups and went pond dipping. We found lots of newts and other creatures that live in the pond. After this we went to compare the mini beasts that live on the field and those that live in the woods. We found lots more in the woods! Larr; Learning about the Features of a Mosque. Year 3/4 Learning Zone. Making our own Sorting Keys. On June 23, 2015. Yesterday we used the leaves we gathered in the woods last week to make our own sorting diagrams. We began by sorting the leaves in to different groups and then we discussed and identified the key features of different leaves. This included how many main veins the leaves had, whether the edge was smooth or had teeth and if it grew as one leaf or as leaflets. We then then used these characteristics to make our own keys.

On Wednesday, we had a great time on our library trip. The children really enjoyed looking at all of the books and we would like to say a special thank you to the parents who came with us, you were a wonderful help! On October 5, 2016.
