We have carefully drawn what we think the Lady of Shalott would see from her window. We have used all the ideas and images we could find in Tennyson’s poem. Year 2 Class Area. Comments Off on Art Work. This half term we will be developing our sculpting techniques. We will be working in clay to make an “Aboriginal design” clay tile and an animal sculpture. This afternoon we had great fun learning new techniques and vocabulary such as “relief” and “impression”. Using this we made models of monsters using Play Doh,. As you can see we had a good laugh and were proud of our models! Watch this space for more art work coming (relatively) soon! Begin by learning 2x, 5x, 10x as we have begun in class this week. When these are learnt, go on to 3x, 4x, 5x and 6x. Then 9x, 8x and 7x. Please can your child keep the sheet at home and learn their tables with you as we are focusing on multiplication and division for the rest of the term. Thank – you.
