quite mary mary: 1950s Chairs.
http://quitemarymary.blogspot.com/2010/06/1950s-chairs.html
Friday, June 18, 2010. I found these in the local charity shop. They came with filthy black plastic seats. And were absolutely covered in sticky grime! After much scrubbing they look a little better. I'm still debating on what fabric I shall reupholster them with. They're pretty low so I'm going to make cushions for them too. August 12, 2011 at 4:24 AM. 50s furniture is very desirable now, if you see any more in charity shops buy them quick and flog them if you dont like them. Blogs to oogle at.

quite mary mary: Society6
http://quitemarymary.blogspot.com/2010/01/society6.html
Wednesday, January 20, 2010. This is a new illustration I just posted on my new page on Society6. A brilliant website that allows artists and supporters to promote other artists and works. There is also chances to enter into collaborative projects from around the world. The standard of work on this site is pretty awe inspiring and needless to say I was intimidated putting up my illustrations. This is certainly going to be an incentive to work harder! quite mary mary: June 2010
http://quitemarymary.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 19, 2010. Beetle modeling this season's cow parsley. I'm slowly beating my unruly garden into submission. I don't dare take photos of the worst bits.much too embarrassing! After a hard slog trying to battle it out with brambles over the winter, new nasties such as nettles, buttercups, bind weed (the list is endless). Have completely taken over. There was only one thing for it. a massive dose of weedkiller. I am now taking great pleasure in watching everything. Friday, June 18, 2010.
