Sewing: No Sew Doggie Sweater. Our little yorkie poo has been hesitant to to go out on chilly mornings. This little sweater took less than 5 minutes to make and no sewing was involved. Note: There is a chance that this sweater may fray later on. Mine hasn't yet. Cut the sleeve from an old sweater. Cut all the way through so that both sides are cut at the same time. http://www.onebrownmom.com/2017/01/refashion-skirt-to-bag.html
ReFashion - Skirt to Bag! To start 2017 off right I created a new bag for myself from a skirt! When I saw this Anthropologie Marimekko mini skirt at the local thrift shop I HAD to have it. The colors are bright and bold and everything about it screamed handbag to me! Plus it was only $5- so how could I go wrong? For this project I used:. 1 set of bag handles (recycled from another bag). 1/2 yard canvas fabric- Optional: used to line the bag and make it stiff. Marimekko Mini Skirt - BEFORE transformation.

Preparing for a Storm. If you live on a secondary street or a street that is slow to get plowed consider parking (legally) on a nearby main street. Main streets usually get plowed first so you're less likely to be stuck in the house, on your block or in your neighborhood. There is a small business near me that has plenty of parking. For a few bucks he'll let me park in his lot. 2 Know local snow regulations! 7 Keep healthy snacks on hand. Chips and popcorn are great, but make sure you keep fresh frui...
