Climbing stairs, slamming doors, licking appliances, putting his grimy baby hands on my expensive curtains, even grabbing for the tv remote. I’m trying to teach him the word “no” but Luke must speak some other language because he just keeps sticking his chubby little fingers in the outlets. Oh, I stay in shape by chasing the baby around. Monday, April 23, 2012. Levi's 2nd Birthday Party! We celebrated Levi's Birthday on Sunday. He has been patiently waiting for this day to come, watching his cousins and his mom celebrate theirs. In his words, "It's Ya-ya's turn now." Needless to say, he was super excited. Whenever I asked what he wanted for his birthday, he would quickly respond with "CAKE! Showing the grandmas his cupcakes. He was pretty intense about the whole thing. Competing with his cousin Trajan. Always looking ahead for the next egg. Running to keep up with the big kids. Friday, June 8, 2012. A field of weeds and an oddly placed pole barn. Thankfully there was a nice patio installed by the previous owners, but that was it. About a month ago we started researching, designing and doing all the little background projects that had to be done first. And then one day this just happened. Someone got chainsaw happy. Goodbye eucalyptus tree! Apparently they aren't good for the lawn, so now we have firewood. Last week was full of multiple tractors and dump trucks. Boy heaven!
