The Ever Changing Motherhood: May 2012
http://theeverchangingmotherhood.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
The Ever Changing Motherhood. Wednesday, May 9, 2012. I agree with the President. It is about time that we had a president in this country that is for same sex marriage. The anti gay marriage feelings in this country are no different than the anti minority or anti women ones we had to deal with decades ago. The United States is discriminating against a whole demographic of people and somehow this is suppose to be okay. Posted by Marsha Bullock. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). BYOB Has a New Meaning. The Ever Changing Motherhood: Someday my kids will appreciate it
http://theeverchangingmotherhood.blogspot.com/2011/11/someday-my-kids-will-appreciate-it.html
The Ever Changing Motherhood. Monday, November 28, 2011. Someday my kids will appreciate it. This year while out waiting in lines I encountered a few first timers who wanted to know how I do this year after year. So I have came up with a list of things that help me get through those 36 hours of shopping every year. Yes, I was doing Black Thuraturday this year. 6 Check the weather before leaving. I have stood outside in rain, snow, sleet, freezing temperatures, hurricane strength winds, and on occasio...

The Ever Changing Motherhood: We shouldn't need "Gaming Laws"
http://theeverchangingmotherhood.blogspot.com/2012/02/we-shouldnt-need-gaming-laws.html
The Ever Changing Motherhood. Monday, February 20, 2012. We shouldn't need "Gaming Laws". Wii, Playstation3, and Xbox Gaming Systems. When our children are still at home we can curb this addiction somewhat, unless you have a husband who is a gamer and then you might be looking at a lost cause. We can set up time limits on games, make them turn off their phones that we are paying for, even censor what tv channels they have access too. Should we set up all of these limits though? The Ever Changing Motherhood: School Lunches to get an Overhaul
http://theeverchangingmotherhood.blogspot.com/2012/01/school-lunches-to-get-overhaul.html
The Ever Changing Motherhood. Sunday, January 29, 2012. School Lunches to get an Overhaul. Finally, the US Public School Lunches are getting their first overhaul in 15 years. The US Department of Agriculture is starting their 3 year phase in plan, of the new regulations, for school lunches this fall. Included in this plan is a 6 cent a plate increase in school lunch funding to each public school. My other concern is how much is this going to cost in reality? Posted by Marsha Bullock. The Ever Changing Motherhood: November 2011
http://theeverchangingmotherhood.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
The Ever Changing Motherhood. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. I miss Adult Sandwiches. In a rare occurance last week all of the kids went with us to the grocery store. They picked out bologna and peanut butter for their sandwiches this week. Me, I got ham so I could take sandwiches to work with me. A couple days later. Middle child "Mom, can I make a sandwich? Me "Sure, go ahead, just make sure you clean up after you're done". Oldest Child "Mom, can I make a sandwich? Oldest Child "Got it". Me *holds up ea...

The Ever Changing Motherhood: January 2012
http://theeverchangingmotherhood.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
The Ever Changing Motherhood. Monday, January 30, 2012. Since finding out I was going to be a Mom in 2002 I have read one parenting book. The only reason that I have read even one parenting book is because I was given a copy of What to Expect When You're Expecting. After having my first I was told about a multitude of different parenting books. The authors of most parenting books. What parenting books have you read? Posted by Marsha Bullock. Labels: how to parent. Sunday, January 29, 2012. Finally, the U...

The Ever Changing Motherhood: Spanking Linked to Aggression
http://theeverchangingmotherhood.blogspot.com/2012/02/spanking-linked-to-aggression.html
The Ever Changing Motherhood. Monday, February 13, 2012. Spanking Linked to Aggression. Go to any parenting forum on the web and ask a simple question on what to do about an issue you have with your child and you are going to get a ton of different ways to deal with it. One of the ways you are most likely to hear is spank them. A new study may want you to not follow that advice though. Http:/ www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/07/us-spanking-idUSTRE8161R220120207. The Ever Changing Motherhood: Modern Parents are Crazy
http://theeverchangingmotherhood.blogspot.com/2012/02/modern-parents-are-crazy.html
The Ever Changing Motherhood. Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Modern Parents are Crazy. A new poll put out by the BBC shows that parents such as myself, are part of a fast growing minority. The BBC recently polled 2,000 parents about the classic fairy tales, half of them said that the classics are too scary for children. With the kidnapping, violence, and other horrible things that happen in these stories modern parents believe the classics are things nightmares are made of. Posted by Marsha Bullock. Rape ...

The Ever Changing Motherhood: The change from play to learning
http://theeverchangingmotherhood.blogspot.com/2012/01/change-from-play-to-learning.html
The Ever Changing Motherhood. Saturday, January 28, 2012. The change from play to learning. I'll be the first to admit that I could be classified as a free range parent. When my kids were toddlers I went with their schedule of what they wanted to do. If they brought me a book. I read it. If they brought me crayons. We colored. If they brought me 3 knives. Out of the kitchen to juggle, we had a talk about why that was not a good idea. I didn't force them to sit and learn their abc's on flash cards. We hav...
