The image to the left shows a recent patient's retinal image. He came for a routine exam with no complaints, yet with the help of the OPTOMAP we found a vitreous hemorrhage caused by his diabetes. Now he can receive treatment at an earlier stage and have a better prognosis. So his routine checkup became a potentially vision saving experience.
