Monday, February 23, 2015. We celebrated Valentine's Day a little bit early this year. My sister, Amie, offered to babysit for us on Wednesday when the actual holiday was on Saturday. I didn't think he would be while I was pregnant because he didn't seem interested at all, but now that Weston's here, Parker is always helping, snuggling, and loving on his brother. We try and make it to chick-fil-a every year on their cow appreciation day. You dress like a cow and get a free meal. Sunday, November 2, 2014. Kyle and I went out for a date night to celebrate his birthday just me and him. We went to Longhorn Steakhouse and then shopped at the mall for some clothes and other random things Kyle liked. He isn't very picky, which makes him hard to shop for, so it was nice to browse and let him pick things. The day of Kyle's actual birthday, he had to work, but he came home to one of his favorite dinners, Beef Philly Sandwiches. And I made him his requested warm cookie and ice cream dessert.

Thursday, June 18, 2015. One of my favorite things about having a baby is the short 48-hour stay in the hospital afterwards. It's nice to have the nurses take care of you and to have one-on-one time with your new baby.
