Musical inspiration came from my mother who is a Rabindra Sangeet singer and plays the Esraaj. Tagore at times visited my maternal grandfather’s house for an evening get together of music and poetry recitals. I currently work for a fortune 500 telecom company in the US. I am married to my beautiful wife for over 15 years now (who, an engineer by profession, is also a Kathak and Odissi dancer and a stage actress) and have a young daughter who is also passionate about her Odissi dance.
