Staring at the Sea. Driving the Narrow Streets of Sandwich. January 27, 2015. January 28, 2015. Today I arrive in Sandwich, the main video features a short drive into Sandwich in Kent past Pfizers and around the Barbican and narrow streets. Streets with names such as ‘Short Street’ and ‘No Name Street’ are typically descriptive. sandwich is one of ‘The Cinque Ports’ and the first that I have visited, the others will feature in the next few weeks. Staring at the Sea. Aborted Trip to Richborough Castle and New Camera Test. February 18, 2015. My new camera arrived this morning and being keen to test it I decided to walk to Richborough Castle, close to where I am currently staying. I knew it was closed but wondered what access there was and the weather was great for a walk…. I will follow up on the camera in my next vlog. I am REALLY ANNOYED with the sound in this video! I visit Pharos (Roman Lighthouse), St Mary’s in Castro, and The Great Tower. The refurbishment is described as English Heritage’s most ambitious project!
