Um dia, encontrei o mar. Sexta-feira, 28 de maio de 2010. Para lá do horizonte. Á faz uns 9 anos. Voámos no meu Volvo direcção a Sul, como era hábito. Nesse dia, e porque tudo estava ao cronometro, nem o Caranks levámos. Tínhamos combinado entrar da pedra. Desta vez o nosso companheiro de aventuras ficava à sombra na garagem. Era talvez a quarta ou quinta vez que o Fábio entrava no mar. Andava praticamente na fase do começar a conseguir apanhar uns peixes. A maré estava no ponto ideal para entrarmos.
