The day before, we bumped into the owner of the place, an interesting guy who Amy had worked for back when she was in high school. They had lost touch, and the probabability of the whole thing was pretty freaking miraculous. We drove north across the Golden Gate Bridge to visit the Muir Woods. We had dinner at a place in Sausalito. As the sun set, we returned to Chinatown.

We went to the zoo. It was a good time. I experimented a lot with continuous shooting, which allowed me to catch the animals at interesting spots without having to pinpoint the exact moment. It was a nice looking place, and the quiet cool calm of morning was a soothing indication that it would be an interesting day. This leg of the trip ended in Pike Place Market.
