Mostly Whatnot: January 2013
http://mostlywhatnot.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
This, that, and whatnot. Mostly whatnot. Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Best and Worst 2012. I can wrap up the best and worst parts of last year in a nutshell. It may not be deep and reflective, but 2012 made it quite easy to be decisive about such things. So without further ado, the best and worst:. Losing my wee son and daughter at 18 weeks of pregnancy and the aftermath thereof. Spending almost an entire month in another country, another continent. Who am I kidding? There you have it. Cheers to 2013!

Mostly Whatnot: May 2012
http://mostlywhatnot.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
This, that, and whatnot. Mostly whatnot. Friday, May 25, 2012. I still think of my babies every day. Sometimes it's a memory of them moving inside of me. Sometimes it's the tattoo that looks back at me in the mirror. And sometimes its a loving gesture or comment from a friend that reminds me that they care. No further surgery required and the green light to go ahead and give it another go! Now I just have to put in some time before things are in order to move forward. Our hopes are high! I was hoping we ...

Mostly Whatnot: Kindergarten Looms
http://mostlywhatnot.blogspot.com/2013/07/kindergarten-looms_12.html
This, that, and whatnot. Mostly whatnot. Friday, July 12, 2013. My baby boy is starting kindergarten in September. I won't lie. It scares me. He's a sweet, spontaneous boy and affectionate perhaps to a fault. His heart is so tender. I don't want him to toughen up. To be compared to others. I don't want him to realize he's not the fastest and smartest kid in the world. I don't want him to conform. July 12, 2013 at 2:36 PM. July 19, 2013 at 6:46 AM. Brenda, you said it perfectly. But oh how I remember ...

Mostly Whatnot: Mixed Bag of Emotion
http://mostlywhatnot.blogspot.com/2013/03/mixed-bag-of-emotion.html
This, that, and whatnot. Mostly whatnot. Monday, March 4, 2013. Mixed Bag of Emotion. I'm not quite sure where to start today. A little too much going on. First off, this is my last week before maternity leave! That's totally crazy. I am taking some holiday time so that my actual start date is on my due date of March 24. Three days of work this week and I'm done. For an entire year. I can't even wrap my head around it. Strength for the week. For the day. March 4, 2013 at 2:29 PM. March 4, 2013 at 2:56 PM.

Mostly Whatnot: Grandpa
http://mostlywhatnot.blogspot.com/2013/03/grandpa.html
This, that, and whatnot. Mostly whatnot. Friday, March 15, 2013. I never knew him in his working days but I have heard stories of his incredible work ethic, patience, and integrity. I believe every word of it. That's how he lived his life. He knew Who he served and did so with unwavering resolve. He loved to debate ethics and politics and thought deeply about all sorts of matters. I love you Grandpa. You are missed. So well said.and all of it true! Miss my brother-in-law very much. That is a beautiful tr...

Mostly Whatnot: April 2013
http://mostlywhatnot.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
This, that, and whatnot. Mostly whatnot. Monday, April 15, 2013. I have been meaning to blog for quite some time. As it turns out, my hands have been busy and my arms have been full. You see, I have a beautiful baby girl! They placed her on me and told me to look. I said "Oh, a boy! And they told me to look again! The day before she came, the Boy said "If it's a girl I shall call her Cupcake! We are so blessed. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Mostly Whatnot: March 2012
http://mostlywhatnot.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
This, that, and whatnot. Mostly whatnot. Tuesday, March 27, 2012. I also felt badly because I kind of felt that I was going against my own people - nurses. I understand what a busy shift is like. What it's like to be short staffed and bursting at the seams with people who are sick and demanding. To work a night shift and not have slept the day before. The variables are endless. I don't want anyone else to go through what I did feeling like they were alone in a place that should be taking care of them.

Mostly Whatnot: April 2012
http://mostlywhatnot.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
This, that, and whatnot. Mostly whatnot. Thursday, April 19, 2012. Today I had my routine post- partum. Checkup. I had a list of questions for the doctor. Are the autopsy reports back? Were the babies alive at birth? No The birth process is usually too traumatic for such little ones, mine included. This gives me peace of mind because sometimes at night when my mind would run away with me I would wonder if they had been and torture myself about not holding them as they died. Can I be referred back to this...

Mostly Whatnot: June 2012
http://mostlywhatnot.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
This, that, and whatnot. Mostly whatnot. Thursday, June 14, 2012. I've been a bit quiet about the direction of things as far as attempting to expand the family goes. A week and a half ago we had a frozen embryo transfer done. Yesterday I learned that this one didn't take. We will give it another go before the lab shuts down for the summer. They timed it with my natural cycle and every step was easy. Except that it didn't take. Fingers crossed for next month! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
