The Australian Pesticide and Veterinary Medicine Authority has banned pesticides containing Endosulfan. The chemical was banned in the U.S after it was suspected to harm the health of farmers. A producer has defended an advertisement to highlight the problem of childhood obesity that equates parents giving their children junk food to injecting them with heroin. We all need to eat – we don’t all need to take heroin, she said.
