We raised hundreds of dollars and a big bucket of toys for seriously ill children and their families. It's always a treat to meet talented writers in person, and Wednesday was no exception. Our next meetup and benefit will be Wednesday, March 10 at the new Buffalo Wild Wings. In Ashburn near Wegmans. Our event will benefit the Loudoun Museum. A great local resource that has suffered lately due to budget cuts and a mold issue. They will be reopening this spring in their repaired historic Leesburg location. The BFG February meetup will benefit Loudoun Interfaith Relief. Loudoun Interfaith Relief (LIR) is the largest and only nutritious food pantry in Loudoun County. LIR serves their clients by providing the food necessary to prepare three balanced meals a day for three days for any size family. Join us February 19. At O'Faolain's Irish Restaurant.

How can I help? 3810 Meetup - Buffalo Wild Wings. How Do I Post the BFG Graphic/Badge? Thursday, February 26, 2009. BFG Happy Hour at O'Faolain's. The inaugural BFG event was a resounding success! The event was great! Over fifty people attended - bloggers and non-bloggers alike. It was great to meet other local bloggers, and the featured bloggers: Dan, Erica, and Tammi, were a hit! The donation jar raised $525 for Loudoun Interfaith Relief, and we expect another $125 or so from restaurant sales.

Hannah went to the zoo this week with camp. She came home to tell me how she saw these huge turtles. I thought, great! Next day at camp, they asked the kids to draw their favorite thing they saw at the zoo. I got an IM from the daycare telling make sure I see her drawing. I am sharing it with you.
