This is all the stuff that happens in my brain, translated to my fingers. It’s Not Her, It’s You. October 27, 2014. Mama, what wrong with me? Why does nobody want to be my friend? This is what my 5 year old asked me when we were driving, as her sister napped beside her in the van. Why would a 5 year old ask such a thing? I had to explain to her that there is nothing wrong with her. I didn’t explain to her that despite her diagnoses, people don’t believe me when I tell them. She is not 8 or neurotypical.
