Embrace the riches of life. We’ve spent our last week of summer at our beach house. It’s the perfect place to get messy, sandy and to make stuff. I don’t know about you, but I remember the craft shack at summer camp and I loved making sand candles. I decided to try them with the kids this year and they loved it, especially my oldest one. One day after school, one of my students brought in a young grade one friend to show him some of her class projects. Teaching Links and Useful stuff! Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Hunt and Gather Share :). Admittedly, when I first opened my Hunt and Gather collection, I got a little scared. I am SO not outdoorsy. Then I started to use it. And, once again I fell head over heels in love with a Kaisercraft collection *sigh*. I really am SO lucky to be on their team. I would never be able to keep up with my Kaisercraft addiction otherwise! I love the blues and greens and browns. I just love everything about this collection!

Tuesday, 26 May 2015. Thank you May, for your second bank holiday. On this occasion, we spent the day at the village fayre, in a neighbouring village. Mark and I took my parents, and we all had such a lovely time. It's a picturesque place, with attractions on the village green, and surrounding area. If we had of won, we could have purchased the stunning house on the cliff top (even though it wasn't for sale). Or called both our offices to inform we would not be returning to work, due to unforeseen circumstances (we have both agreed we will not expose our wealth, in case it should lead to jealousy and animosity).

Tuesday, 24 February 2015. I spy purple flowers. Oh hurry up Spring. Winter is all very well, it brings us Christmas and I adore Christmas. But once the festive period is closed it's all rather cold and dark. Until Spring pokes its head around the corner and reminds us pettier and sunnier days are ahead. Wednesday, 15 July 2015. Once upon a time, well, approximately twenty years ago. There was a young lady called Nikki. She was not a beautiful princess, nor did she live in a big castle. She did, however, kiss a lot of frogs until she met her Prince Charming. And oh how she liked to party! Twirling around in her leather trousers, clutching her bottle of cider, and shouting the lyrics of her favourite tunes, all to her heart's content. See, I told you she was not a princess. What hedonistic days they were!
