Not just about knits. Wednesday, 18 January 2012. A quick decision saw us heading to the coast, pre-dawn. We stopped briefly for a take-away coffee for me from the Braidwood bakery, then off down the mountain to Moruya for breakfast - we were their first customers for the day. Not just about knits. Friday, 27 December 2013. Another six months of socks. You may recognise some of the socks in this post from this post. At least they're finished now. Ahem I didn't quite live up to my self-imposed challenge of knitting a pair of socks for each month of the year. The first half of the year went well, with even an extra three pairs done! So, although I slowed down in the second half, I still had a pretty good output overall, methinks. July socks - Nice ribbed socks. Also, you don’t have to wrap every part of the gift. I made a nice little arrangement, with a couple wrapped gifts and the card, and some extra gifts (that would have been hard to wrap or taken a lot of extra paper. And incorporating something unexpected in your wrapping, like the palm branch from a recent Palm Sunday, is really the icing on the cake. Cheap and Green Ways to Wrap Gifts.
