Sudden Lifestyle: August 2006

Comments on diet, exercise, hiking and health. Friday, August 11, 2006. Lizard Lee's Lawn at Saline Hot Springs. Some of you have heard about my hikes around Saline Valley and the hot springs. There's 60 miles of bad road getting in but the drive is worth it. A guy named Lizard Lee watches over the camp and hot springs. He also maintains a nice lawn which helps to keep things cool with it's evaporation in the hotter months. Take plenty of water and check your spare before you head out. Links to this post.

The common aspect is fashion versus function - one of my favorite topics. Technology advances in fits and starts. Cheap...

For years the Federal Energy Star program. Has perpetuated the myth that if you buy appliances (or any electrical device) for the home that uses less energy, you'll see proportional savings in your monthly power bill. This is rarely the case.
