I have several photo's of the McDowell Resort, as I call It. Somethings wrong with the server and I can't upload any of them. Dream "BIG DREAM'S" they do come true! Monday, January 28, 2008. My Surprise Birthday Party! David tried. to surprise me today at the Resort Club House for my Birthday. While I was out for my walk, our neighbors were packing their car to go home for the weekend. Ann and Bobbie are from Canton, Ms. About three hours from Biloxi. Dream "BIG DREAM'S" they do come true! Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Trip to Pensacola, Florida. The Blue Angels headquarters are at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. We traveled to Pensacola, Florida. It was only a two hour drive from Biloxi. Our trip to the beach was fabulous. This was the first time I'd ever seen the Gulf Of Mexico. We enjoyed a Saturday afternoon Mardi Gras Parade with friends from Hannibal, Mo., Danny and Linda Hinds. They came to Biloxi and spent the month of February. Dream "BIG DREAM'S" they do come true! Friday, January 18, 2008. We are learning more about the History of this area every day. Before Hurricane Katrina destroyed the Gulf Coast there were hundreds of Live Oak Trees that lined HWY 90. These Oak Trees are nothing like our Oak Trees in Iowa.
