Je Suis Prest Boutique – /jě swit preɪ buˈtik/. April 10, 2009 · Filed under customer experience. I know now what Adam Duritz was referring to when he sang about accidental love. En route from the gym to a meeting, both in the Brunswick-Market Square plaza, I fell accidentally in love with Je Suis Prest Boutique. I didn’t mean to, in fact I didn’t even have my wallet. Saint John, meet Keira Fraser’s in vogue New York flare! There is no doubt in my consumer mind, that this family business is about to soar...

Powdered snow on tender greens. A visit to the fair. A visit to the fair. September 1, 2011. Much like when I was young, I still enjoy the Atlantic National Exhibition that occurs every year at this time. However, compared to when I was young and went for the rides and games and expensive greasy food, I now go to see the livestock displays, the handcraft competitions, the skill demonstrations. I like the colours and the pattern that the quilter used, and I took the picture because I want to someday make ...

Powdered snow on tender greens. Archive for October, 2011. Keeping away the chill. October 3, 2011. The weather’s getting chilly, so I thought it was about time I made myself a new scarf. I live on the east coast of Canada, and I enjoy making things with my hands. Knitting, embroidery, and cooking are what I enjoy most, but I'm not averse to trying new things. Oh yes, and I also dye my own yarn/thread! I just got home from the gym when it started to rain. 5 years ago. It's a beautiful day!

Powdered snow on tender greens. A book of gifts. A book of gifts. September 8, 2011. I ordered this book a couple of weeks ago, and was thrilled when it finally arrived on my doorstep. A nice treat to come home to after work! September 8, 2011 at 4:45 PM. It seems interesting. Are you planning to make some gift from this book for the winter holidays (if you celebrate any)? September 8, 2011 at 6:24 PM. There are a few that I think I’ll make, especially for friends. Sadly, though, there arenR...You are...

Powdered snow on tender greens. No excuse to not learn quilting. August 30, 2011. I think most of the fabrics are from samples, probably from things like curtains. They’re not quilting cottons. Nevertheless, I know that I can make something from them, and this gives me a really good chance to learn how to quilt properly. These are the little pieces. Most of the fabric pieces are 9-12 inches wide, but these are only about half that size. If they don’t become part of a patchwork pillow, IR...I feel a li...

Powdered snow on tender greens. Keeping away the chill. October 3, 2011. The weather’s getting chilly, so I thought it was about time I made myself a new scarf. September 25, 2011. I don’t know if anybody has heard of Knit for Japan. Imagine if you were affected by a disaster and you lost access to your favourite craft, the thing you would do to relax and to feel productive and good about yourself. Imagine, then, somebody handing you those tools once again. Wouldn’t that make you feel good? I ordered thi...
