Friday, 20 March 2015. A short drive up to Casa Grande brought us to Palm Creek Golf and RV Resort. Entering the gates, 24 hour security. This is indeed a first class resort! From registering inside in a hotel-like lobby, to the volunteer who led us to, and helped us back into to our huge premium site, we were greeted with welcoming friendliness. Monday, 15 February 2016. Phoenix, to Tucson. The longer I live the more beautiful life becomes. Usery Mountain is a beautiful, verdant Regional Park. Just as the sun is beginning to set, the cholla shines. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and outgoing. There was a Full Moon Hike and Campfire scheduled with Ranger B. Wednesday, 25 November 2015. From Shelter Bay Ferry to Tsawwassen Ferry. The trip south on Highway 23. From Revelstoke also had two free ferry rides! The first one is the Shelter Bay Ferry, at the north end of Arrow Lake. There is a Provincial Park just at the ferry dock, but it is like a wayside campground with small sites close together. We got there at 5, just as the ferry left. We decided to wait and take the 6pm ferry. Beginning to board the ferry. It was a calm ride across. View down the lake.

Sunday, 30 August 2015. To Whitehorse- the first time. One more night at Muncho Lake. Another couple from Nova Scotia travelling with her sister came in. The next morning, the lake was crystal clear, but the smoke from the wildfires was so thick, the sun was orange! Muncho Lake sky just before we left. You could look right at the sun. It turned out that bacon was not good bait, as our friends didn’t catch anything. We left Muncho Lake,. Ewes and lambs in same place as yesterday! Rams checking us out!

Sunday, 24 April 2016. San Diego Part II. The second half of our stay at Santee Lakes was initially better weather, then it became cool the last week - back into the high teens [60’s] in the day, but down to 3C [38F] one night. However, the sun was warm enough for short sleeves. The flowers and trees are blooming in riotous colour. We have watched the trees on our site go from leafless to bright green leaves and beautiful deep pink flowers. Warm weather, but many bare trees. Our Fitness Club of choice.
