Sunday, June 29, 2014. In the summer of 2012 we bought a set up above ground pool. Or as we lovingly refer to it, our "white trash pool." It really is pretty fun and has a salt water purification system. You add a certain amount of salt to the water and when it runs through the system it is turned into chlorine. The Red River Bunch. Happy New Year 2012. We are so excited for 2012! My goal is to keep up my blog for my journal! In the third grade Cecily was lucky enough to be in the same class with her cousin Kiah. We got to visit the Midway Fish Hatchery too! And hike to the top of Memorial Hill. Sunday, July 6, 2014. When I was a kid I loved to ride my bike down to Timp Freeze (aka The Sleeze Freeze) and get an ice-cream cone. I always had the hope that the tiny plastic figurine they put in my ice-cream would be a mermaid. The mermaid was the coolest one. Friday, January 27, 2012. We spent Thanksgiving in St. George this year with the Bentley side of the family. Here is grandpa Rowland adorned in his turkey apron being silly with three of his granddaughters, Kiah, Brianna, and Cecily. And taking out the fried turkey while everyone looks on. I was in charge of making stuffing. Amy got me the recipe and Mady helped me cook it. After the Thanksgiving feast most of us went up to the St. George crack. Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Bentley played Junior Jazz basketball this year for the first time. He really had a great time and learned a lot. He had a really great coach that taught them a bunch and had weekly 1 1/2 practices in addition to the games. I was so proud to see him try something new and enjoy it! Sunday, July 6, 2014. It was a hot July day in 2012 when my sister and sister in laws hiked to Timponogos Cave with the kids. Bentley was 10 and Cecily was barely 8 years old. I remembered the hike being much easier than it actually was. It's a good work out. Cecily struggled on the way up and I stayed behind with her.
