SueBeads: About Me
http://www.suebead.com/pages/about_me.php
Thanks for visiting my About Me page. My name is Sue and I live in Pittsburgh, PA. I make all of my beads by hand in my basement studio that my sweetie set up for me. I have a digitally controlled kiln from Arrow Springs, and a Nortel minor torch. I properly anneal all of my beads for strength and durability. Then I clean them with a diamond drill bit and a dremel. I take great joy in making my beads, and I hope you enjoy them too! Thanks so much for visiting my web store!

Below is another view of my workbench, with kiln in the center. The glass holder on the left is made with PVC pipe and lumber to let me see the glass rods I'm working with. The mandrels (bottom center) are coated with sludge so the beads will release once they come out of the kiln. I need to have lots of different types and colors of glass rods to make my beads. Here's a rolling cart my sweetie made for me to hold the glass.
SueBeads: Policies
http://www.suebead.com/pages/policies.php
Most of my beads are made to order. Please allow five to seven days between placing the order and shipment. If you are trying to meet a special date for giving a gift, please let me know and I'll do the best I can to help you out depending on how many orders I already have outstanding. A few items might indicate an in-stock quantity. That means I have one already made and can ship the next business day. I really hope you'll enjoy my beads!

Past blog hops and challenges. Saturday, August 16, 2014. Bead Stampede bead show in Tacoma. I visited the Bead Stampede bead show held at Freighthouse Square in Tacoma WA. The group of sellers was small but different enough that everyone should be able to find something. I found some blue vintage German plastic connectors along with some pretty turquoisey blue beads (I forgot to ask what kind they were) that I plan to use with the connectors. I also found some purple bicone beads. Here's where I ran out...
