http://bearlytherecreations.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Original by Design,Creative by Nature". Sunday, July 29, 2012. A day in Ipswich. After a couple of days of personal and family dramas it was lovely to go for a drive to Ipswich(near Brisbane) and spend a few hours immersed in art. We first went to the Swich Gallery to view the last day of the "Infused" exhibition in which my friend Mel Forrest was exhibiting- the ones I saw were lovely as soem had sold and were gone! After a shared plate of jamacainn banana and walnut pancakes, it was time to head home.

Textile musings and creative meanderings. Saturday, 28 January 2017. Day 29 of stitching. Saturday, 21 January 2017. 1year of stitches day 18. Here is an update of my #1yearofstitches2017 . I have been looking up new stitches on Pinterest. So the little green chain in the bottom right corner and the little triangles below the blanket stitch are some of those I have saved . The little cross stitch 'snowflake' is very sweet and fun to stitch, I may put in some more cross stitch. Tuesday, 10 January 2017.

ClothMoth(er): Just Considering
http://kathryniliff.blogspot.com/2016/12/just-considering.html
Textile musings and creative meanderings. Thursday, 29 December 2016. Looking at some dyed fabrics for my Olley piece. Orangey yellow background for the colours of her walls , even though here it looks more pink, blue indigo dyed doiley as a still life table top item, faded old handkerchief, the cat is a Jude Hill inspired piece and I just put it here to add some colour and a focal point . Will not use it in the final piece. The other large square is a botanical dyed piece of silk. Saying no and snow.

Original by Design,Creative by Nature". Saturday, November 10, 2012. Once I was at Heathrow, Singapore airlines, decided to put me on an earlier flight - so much for the change of clothes and rearranging the suitcase. It was rush off to get a new lock for the second bag, run to get through passport control and customs, and then a short wait to board the flight for the 12 hour stint to Singapore. My ankles were cankels and throbbing, the only saving grace was free wifi and elevation of my ankles. Picture ...

An international collective of fiber artists exploring sources of inspiration and creativity. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. I love Betty’s suggestion of using unconventional materials. It’s something I'm always trying to do, but I didn’t have enough courage to take the challenge. I look forward to taking this opportunity to step out of my comfort zone. 169;The Kyoto Costume Institute, photo by Toru Kogure. Stomacher, 1760s - bouillonné silk satin, chenille threads.
