http://elliswildlife.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Some of my birding adventures! Saturday, 31 January 2015. Nosterfield gets a visit from America! This afternoon me and my Dad were deciding on where to go for the rest of the afternoon. We couldn't decide where until a drake American Wigeon. Turned up at Nosterfield so we were straight over. As soon as we arrived some birders put us straight onto this awesome bird, it was a little distant but through the scope it looked awesome! It stuck out like a sore thumb from the other Wigeon. Fly over our car.

Some of my birding adventures! Thursday, 9 April 2015. Swillington, Spurn and a Sweet Surprise! On a nice and sunny Sunday morning we took a little trip to Swillington Ings to see what we could find. We were hoping for maybe our first Swallows. Possibly a fly over Osprey. And some nice breeding plumaged Black Necked Grebes. Throughout most of the day we kept our eyes to the sky just in case we even got a glimpse of a Swallow. But we had no luck but a 'booming' Bittern. And a Male Bullfinch. It was very f...
