January 2, 2017. What a week – our last week in the sun, and the last of 2016. After Christmas, David and I spent our time seeing family and packing to leave. It all came far too quickly, and before we knew it we were on our way to Singapore. Once again, Clare was content on the flight, sleeping happily next to me. Once we got to Singapore, we had a few days by the pool. We took time at the end of our trip to be together as a family. Now Clare is interested in solids, we have found an amazing high chair.

November 27, 2016. So this week Clare tried solids for the first time. Well mashed banana to be exact. She was looking intently at the food David and I were eating, and in addition to that, she started to grab for things when I was eating – so we thought we would give it a go. I started with banana – one food at a time to see what her reaction was. I took a tiny bit of banana and mashed it up, adding in a bit of breast milk.
