My final submission for this assignment. Has been sent off. I've really enjoyed these pieces and am feeling much more confident about printmaking. The last piece is the reflection against the criteria for each piece. Task 1 (Project 8). Demonstration of Technical and Visual Skills. I found some interesting examples in my research.

These are the four prints I chose for my final task of assignment 1. For the next assignment I need to be more consistent in keeping a sketch book. The supporting works I sent in were taken from many different sketch books. I will use this to develop my ideas further and show connection between research and artwork created. I've been working on this class. For a really long time. After two wearable muslins of the A-Line dress I think I have the fit sorted on this which I can transfer back to my sloper. Why did a custom drafted pattern take so long to fit? This dress is made in fabric called crepon de coton from les coupons de Saint-Pierre.

I also tried a block with texture paste made from acrylic medium and sand and sugar as I did not have any polyfilla.
