Thursday, January 21, 2010. On Monday, mom began a her new chemo treatment. We spent about 6 hours at the cancer center learning about her new treatment while she received her first dose. Friday, January 15, 2010. Sorry it's been so long since an update. Here a few. Today, Friday, we met with the doctor to discuss some options. We are planning to have her start another chemo treatment this coming Monday. This treatment will involve receiving chemo and then being on a pump for 48 hours after chemo.

Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Update from Monday's Appointments. On Monday, Mom went in to have her blood tested. The doctors have been monitoring her red blood cell count very closely since she was diagnosed with anemia. If she gets to or below 8.0, then she'll have to have a blood transfusion. Thankfully, she is holding her own.as they said. For two weeks straight, she's been at 8.1. Way to go Mom's red blood cells! Sunday, September 20, 2009. Fourth Cycle Chemo and CT Scan Update.

New Friends and Acquaintances. In 1987, I met Tim. We moved to Santa Cruz together and founded a small community, Sunshower Farm. I worked as a nurse, taught dance, and gave birth to the amazing Molly Stuart, my one and only daughter. In 1998, Tim and I ended our romantic partnership, but remained community mates for the next ten years. I met David at Burning Man in 2008.
