Parting Company with HepC. A blog of my experience of living with hepatitis C virus (genotype 3a) and of going through 24 weeks of treatment with the aim of parting company with it after (probably)24 years. Saturday, May 28, 2005. Finished work, waiting to start. Daughter no 3 just waking up so thats all for now. Feeling better about viral load becasue someone on forum had a higher one - 17million - and got an undetectable quite soon in treatment - inspiration and reassurance for me! Monday, May 23, 2005.

Only 24 more weeks of tx to go! I am seeing the Professor next Monday so hopefully he will get to the bottom of it. It might just be another side effect of the tx that I hadn’t experienced before. I am loathe to take anything - I couldn't face yet another type of drug in my system. I shall be so bloody glad when this is over. At least my brain is still managing to stay alive - I even got a 'top' at bridge this week - perhaps the drugs are doing some good? The banana sandwich calls. bye. Ty, a shop window.
