This is what goes on in sueville. Friday, February 10, 2006. How not to meet your neighbor. Me: with my cat who seems not at all happy about being in the hallway, my hair all pulled back from just having washed my face, no bra and frozen like a deer in headlights. He: scarffing a doughnut, straight out of the plastic bag he purchased it in, like it was the first thing he has eatten in months. Both of us stop dead. He tries to forget that i just saw him shoving the chocolate covered doughnut in his mouth.

This is what goes on in sueville. Monday, July 09, 2007. I didn't send a father's day card in silent protest to the lack of interest shown in myself on my father's part. My relationship with my dad haunts me. i think about it all the time. how different it would feel if he took an active interest. what it would feel like if he asked my questions like, "when is my little girl going to get married? Or told me how much he believes in me. how different life would be if that was my dad. I read these a lot.
